Never seen a Baldwin cam, but it will depend on what model. 04-05, or 06+

Ive got a Baldwin mx cam and piston combo in now, and im not thrilled with it, but I think its a combination of several factors that caused my issue,

last year I had a JE piston with the same cam and crf gasket and loved it

this years setup had less throttle response, it was a very smooth and controllable power delivery, but I guess I want arm ripping response, more then power to the ground

here is a post I wrote at the beginning of the year

at least it was sold to me as an mx cam, i wasn't aware there was a xc cam...before I take it out this winter I will measure the lift and check the duration with my wheel

do you know the specs on the xc cam?

If I remember right the Baldwin XC cam is just a CRF cam, kind of like the Sparks drop in cam used to be, not sure if it still is or not. I had the Baldwin XC cam for 2 years. Toby at MXP told me what it was close to but I don't remember now.
