i have 12 weeks till i can ride after a racing crash last weekend so heres a thread for your stories photos of what you have broken

ill start last weekend i was racing at raceway englishtown nj or the llast race of the season and duing the fiirst moto i hit a step on step off too fast hit the top of the second jump thrown off my quad and broke my arm the track dozed the jump after i was the thrid person to crash there

fell off my 400 july 3rd, broke my right collar bone, right hand, and my left big toe.

hit a big down log and got pitched off...

had 3 big cuts on my head, a bad concussion, and spent 3 days in the head trauma center in Marshfield before they would let me out.

I couldnt drive for 2 weeks and had to pass a second brain test before i could drive after failing it right after my concussion.

hmm where to start...

Total of 5 breaks in my right ankle (2 of those occurring in 2 months) with 2 pins and 4 screws placed
Total of 4 breaks in my left ankle (broke both ankles at the same time at one point)
broken jaw
broken tail bone
right wrist
4 broken ribs on the right chest (probably the most painful injury by far)
Left clavicle
broken t7 & t9 then compression fractured t9-l2
dislocated right hip
and numerous concussions


I have quite an injury list and that is what more or less led me to quite riding. The broken body parts all healed, but after my last concussion I was really starting to have some cognitive effects. Blurred vision for 3 weeks, trouble concentration, confused when I woke up, etc. So I really decided it's not worth risking it mainly for the fact that if I were to have another severe concussion I could be left with permanent brain injury and that's nothing to take lightly.

Broken radius and ulna(arm bones haha).
Broken clavical.
And most recently and definitely my worst yet, I tore my LCL and ACL. I damaged the peripheral nerve by my knee too so now I can't move my left foot to the left or up(which means I can't shift..). :(

i broke my pinky finger and managed to shattered the growth plate and had to have a long *** metal rod put IN my finger for a few months. did a whole surgery on it. for a pinky finger, stupid in my eyes but they babied me with pudding at the hospital so i guess its cool.

Most of my patients I work with aren't that fortunate... Just got a guy who rolled a brute force on top of him the other day and crushed his chest.

i got a bb behind my eye ball. nothing broke but still pretty cool.

Completly shattered tibia and fibula after being hit by a dirtbike. Shattered my leg into 25+ pieces which required numerous surgeries. Took over 2 years for the bones to fuse themselves back together.

Shattered left humerus Plate 10 screws, Distal Radius and Ulna, Rotator Cuff, ligament in left elbow, tendon left wrist. All same injury.......... Huge Surgery

Rotator cuff surgery after the aboved healed

Broke distal left tibia

Medial menicus large tear and complete desturction right ACL... Surgery cadaver ACL and menicus

Right Tibia Broken

Left Clavical broken

Many Ribs broken over the years

Nose 2X

A few fingers as well

A few toes broken

Sacrum Broke

Been riding since 1971 and still riding hard so I guess not so bad......

i was starting my 125 with shorts on (jetting it) and it recoiled back smacking my calf..weird bruise..mofo stung haha

Right tib/fib. Metal rod, 3 screws.
Both wrists. Casted one, cut the cast off the other 3 days later because i thought i was badass. They both give me issues.
Tail bone
Right femur. Metal rod, 3 screws.

I'm 22, havent broken a bone since I was 17. All the physical therapy got me into being a physical therapist assistant. So in a way im glad i shattered my femur when i was 17 lol

Dang, thought I was bad. KX.. i feel for your arthritis man!

broken my foot and nose. had various sprains and bone bruises in my knees, now have messed up wrists from lacrosse too. My mommy had me drink my milk so im a strong boy. haha

Broke my right leg (tibia and fibia) in 3 places- 2x

Broke my pelvis in 3 places

Broke my right arm (radius and ulna) in 3 places

Broke my left wrist in 3 places

Broke my left leg in 2 places, both bones again, had to have a plate and 4 screws installed (latest injury)

Also broke my left collar bone twice, but that was when I was a baby. Everything else was from some kind of quad or 3 wheeler.
