I finished up my clutch, oil change, ect and said wth let me finally get around to putting in the 52 pilot, do the needle clip deal.. I have this carb completely apart, to clean it while it is out.. This is the only thing I see that will adjust the anything inside the carb.. I must be missing something here but wtf is this needle clip at?? I have never been inside another 450r carb so I duno if this was changed before i bought it..

Thanks

John

Take the top of the carb off, the top of the slide has 2 litle brass screw that hold the needle in place...

Is that what you're talking about?

So its inside the slide.. the 2 screws like Bailey said? That is what I need to take apart to adjust the clip/needle height?? It is suppose to be the 3rd notch from the top ??

Ok I got it.. This thing was set on the last notch closest to the POINT of the needle.. Hopefully the adjustment will eliminate some of the tiny probs I have..

Thanks Guys.. I was like wow I am going crazy.. But when you have never explored something it is never a bad thing to ?? :D
