well i was just sitting here wondering what the next mod would be for a guy with a bike like mine?

i've got the quad in my sig and just wondering what the next performance mod would be? cause i have no idea...

Not really performance but I'd get an aftermarket adjustable axle, steering stem or a-arms. Not much you could do for engine performance other than like a Hinson basket, pressure plate and inner hub or aftermarket vavles, valve spring kit and a P&P. Maybe a 450r carb.

well a cheap performance mod (50 bucks) would be a sparks timming key then a 10:1 piston (190 bucks) or no key and a 11:1 piston with a stage 2 cam maybe a little P&p id try to stay on stock bore as long as you can so when it wears you can go up a size. BUT.... if you want a power house do a 440 kit with port and polish gt studs stage 2 cam or 3 :D

just the answers i was looking for.

so what kind of a power gain can a guy expect from installing the timing key? i might consider this as my next mod...

some say its noticeable some say its not . when it is its not so much as a power gain it improves throttle responce now for me the ultiment stock bore setup is a 11:1 with satge 2 cam they pull hard. but a nother good setup is the key with a 10:1 and stage 1 cam imo :D

one of my fave setups was 10:1 stage 1 and the 6 degree key with the choke removed for the summer.
