05 450r shocks [Archive] - ATV Riders Forum

I have a chance at buying '05 450r shocks for my '07 400ex on craigslist for $175. The shocks have been cleaned up so they look like new. Anything to look out for? I wish they wouldn't have been cleaned so I could see leaks and such. Just don't want to be screwed by a craigslist deal.

Just be sure they are not leaking, make sure that the eyes on the ends of the shocks are not cracked or messed up..

I would say they are probably fine, 450r shocks arent "known" to blow out or leak or anything, but then again i have gotten burnt alot so my judgement isnt very good..

That seems way over priced. I paid 135shipped for a set of 09 take-offs, on here. They usually go for like 100-150 on here. Look on the bst forum on her. You will find better prices and higher quality items.

You will see them on craigslist and about a week later they are gone. I personally dont know, $135 shipped is an awesome price forsure lol

There is just something about buying from the forums that i like, i guess because people on here are always wanting to help others and not just looking out for themselves.
