Dang, that piston is messed up. What all did you have to replace? the entire top-end?

haha..no the cylinder,ummm the piston,the valves the crank was bent like an L.umm th oil and all the gaskets..then the guy who did it messed up bad.i woulda done it but the guy had the right tools..like a press and tools to split bottom end. and he did everything wrong.wrong valves wrong size of piston. so the 3rd time we took it to a professional and he did it right but the piston got scored up bad cuz the junk in the oil.so the 4th time we did it we got it right and it has been running great sense then! but the jetting wasnt perfect and the air/fuel mix was messed up so when we got that fixed the rest was all cosmetic as you can see..the platics were terrible so we rivited them together cuz they wouldnt stay..haha..so i brought another 400ex to life...with your guys help.

actually we got a new block and head cuz the dude who had it before me had all the head studs stripped and it wouldnt hold any compressiion..so we drilled and tapped big course thread studs but the pros didnt like em so when they got a new head they went back to stock..i hope it holds..but its nice now..do you guys like that pic where i rolled up at red bud and the guys are staring at my 440..haha i did. but yea its a nice quad now..i think i wanna put a bigger sprocket on the front so it goes a little faster to keep up with the 450s. its got too much power as is soo..i cant keep the front end down even in like 4th and 5th..but its all good. thanks for your guys's help tho.

i got plent more pics if ya care but..it did pretty good at redbud except the suspention...oohh it was rough.and i take it to silver lake sand dunes in michigan.with full paddles the things a beast.my friend has a 416 ex and mine blows his out of the water.. i think he gets mad.i climb in 4th and hes in 3rd or second..i love it.
