my transmission went in my truck

Just like the tittle says my ****ing transmission went in my truck!(98 chevy 1500) Just did a qwick look on line to see what it might cost me, up to about 2 grand if i want it done well. The worst part is i get my new truck in December...
never have i ever had good luck ! i mean seriously is it to much to ask for my truck to drive me around and get me to work? BALLS!

Your transmission went? on vacation? just kidding. check out salvage yards and find yourself a cheap trans to last for the next 3weeks until december. I've got 4l60's like yours for 500$ from salvage yards and driven them another 30,000 miles.

x2 try to find a cheap rebuilt one or a used one. No sense putting in a lot of cash into a truck you won't be using in a couple months! Good luck!

yeah, im going to try and hit up a junk yard today and see what they have kicking around. unfortunately im a contractor so i need a truck to haul around my trailer an material and stuff.
