2003 Raptor 660 Cutting Out???

It will start and go to quarter throttle then just cut out if you push the gas any further. I dont mean it sputters or backfires, it cuts out like somebody turned the kill switch off... any suggestions before I start tearing into this thing?

follow your parking break wires down to the back of the rad and disconnect the parking break sensor. don't ground the wires just make sure they can't make contact. if that doesn't work there is a reverse sensor wire that goes to the cases behind the front sprocket. ground that one to the frame (there are 2 wire one is for the neutral and one for reverse) you will lose the reverse light but it should fix the rev limiter. if no report back and we will work on your jetting
