Adjustable needle

I don't need a whole jet kit just an adjustable needle for my 05. Anyone have one Layin around they aren't using? Stock carb

Carb rebuild kit will have that, that way you can replace the float needle while your in there just to be safe

i got a stock one off a 03 if you dont decide to rebuild it

You could get it at the dealership. By the time you pay shipping it shouldn't be much difference in cost. Bike bandit might even have them.

I checked the dealership yesterday and no adjustable needles. The recommend a complete jet kit:/. Will the one off the 03 work on the 05? And it is adjustable correct?

Yes, the needle will work from any year 400ex. The adjustable ones are from 04 and earlier.
