z400 dieing out

Ok my brothers z400 starts up beautifal and will idle perfect once you get going and give it some good gas it dies righ out the petcock looked clean and the carb looks spotless! Any ideas???:ermm:

Make sure its a fresh plug and clean air filter.

make sure the little drain hole on the left side of the block is free and clear, and that you plug wire is dry and not wet
