Anyone Ever Hit Animals?????

What kind of animals have you guys and gals hit? Ive hit some rabits, birds, possums, cats, dogs, and snakes. The possum and cat was 4 fun, lol.

A friend of mine hit a bird in 4th gear.It wasnt pretty either.There was blood and guts all over his Z400.I just laughed at him as he was picking the junk out of his quad.

i was ridin a snowmobile (i bought fer $300) & i seen a big drift of snow leanin over like a jump so i hit it... it turns out i was on some guys farm.. it was a dead cow.. fur & blood everywhere.. it was real funked up.. :uhoh:

I have hit: Partridge, racoons, skunk, duck, many anomomus birds, snakes, mice, moles, a dead deer, a dead cow( this one was in the water, and I couldn't change directions due to depth, and speed.

I have come close to rear ending a very large Black bear, luckily he got up and took off in the other direction, skert the bejebus out of me! I have come close to hitting many deer and a few porkepines.

i have done kamikazi missions chasing deer. the 400 lived throught it everytime.. i got a couple bad cases of road(more like grass rash) from missing my target.

and i have ran over my dogs feet e few to many times. stupid thing thinks it can cut me off.

Well, on my old 300ex, i hit a rabbit...and chased one one time lol...and on my 400, their was this dog that got in front of me and i got pissed cuz he was runnin in front of me "1st gear" and i hit the gas and his @$$ and back legs went under the frame...like where the a-arms meet, and i leaned over my bars to look when i did it, next thing i know, he goes darting out lmao.

I saw a car with a body kit on it "really low to the ground" hit a pit bull...it made the pit bull roll lmao, like rolling carpet.

I heard bout guys hitting jackrabbits out in texas, them things are huge!!

I hit a kid on a bike once, rode up ontop of his back tire, knocked him on his ###...i put a bmx wheel on the back of it for him, and gave him 5 bucks not to tell his parents lmao.

Hey where do you live in VB? I own a house in Sand Bridge. I went to Kellam High School.

As far as hitting animals.......I was up in the high desert climbing a moderate sized hill.....running pretty fast (4th pinned) when I see a blur out the corner of my eye...next thing I know I am runnin over the biggest bobcat I have ever seen. I hit the brakes looked back the cat just shock it off and ran off into the scrubs....About 5 hours later I was loading the quad back into the truck when I noticed a huge chunk of meat and fur lodged between the rear skid plate and swingarm.

when im at my friends house in the boonies we would take this old back road (i dont even think it has a street name, no one lives on it) and just have little drags down to the trails. well he had his blaster and i had my 250 goin then all of a sudden out pops a squirrel. i hit that thing opened up. jarr'ed me a bit though but it was pretty funny. also in some of the bad woods theres alot of turkey, my friend who also has a blaster(everybody has one around here) came around a corner at about 40 and feathers went flyin. the only other story i have besides chasin a few doe is going down a trail then a HUGE bird starts to fly away but it juts goes over my head. it was a huge crow or something

I have a lot of fun trying to hit animals on my Rancher especialy the neighbors dogs that chase my cows and kill my ducks. The only bad thing about hitting animals is straightening the front rack after every 2 or 3 hits.

I know that chit happens and you will at some point hit some sort of animal and i have as well, but some of you guys act proud about it and actually try and go out of your way to run an animal over:( thats not cool..

I am only proud to hit the neighbors dogs. I do enjoy chasing the other animals, but I don't care if I hit anything other than the dogs.

just last sunday i almost hit a doe.. i was creepin thru the trail and in the middle was a deer...it saw me and took off.. one time i was riding with some friends and i was leading. it was a small trail i ran up on a lond stick. witch i thought was a snake .. i freaked the crap outta me and i damn near wrecked... everyone thought it was funny as hell.. i havent got any good kills YET..

along time ago i was riding an old ***** dirtbike and came up on a deer.. i locked up the back brake (the only one that worked) and it was in grass. the bike slid out from underneth me and i slid about 50 feet. the bike slid down about another 50 feet or so.. i laughed it off and road back to the house..

I was thinking the same thing. Ive ran over a couple snakes by accident. I pulled a few scared turtles out of the trail also. I would never hit a animal on purpose.

a few years ago i was riding out in this grassy field and I came upon a small fawn, i got under 5 feet from it, it was pretty cool

Umm ive been charged by noo less the 5 deer riding quads in my back yard and i happened to hit a smaller one when it jumped in front of me and really mess up my bumber and fenders which i had to replace. The dear i think is at some s.p.c.a or somethin for injured animals. Ive kill one bird goin like 60 at my neighbors and all i can say is it hurts like a mother and i flew right of the back it almost felt like a bullet and left a huge ***** bruise for like 2 months. And ive killed 2 groundhogs on purpose because the digging huge holes in the middle of my track which i always have to cover over next time iam takin out the shoti.

I actually managed to run over a TURKEY a couple weeks ago. I was riding through a field where the grass was about 4 feet tall and didn't see it. I didn't know I had run over it until I heard the frantic flapping sound from behind me. I looked back and the turkey was flying off as fast as it could and there was a cloud of feathers behind my quad. Apparently it lived!

I had to swerve to miss a turtle in the middle of the track yesterday during the harescramble at haspin. Almost went off the trail and down a hill because of it. He was just sitting there - I have a feeling he didn't last very long with all the quads that were out there...

hitting animals by accident is fine it happens to all of us. But since they have no instincts to help them deal with cars its kinda like beating up a person that cant fight back. Thats just cheap. people that go around aiming to hit animals are immature. wasting an animals life for the sport of it goes against everything i feel is right. animals were put on the earth for a reason, and its not for the fun of it. every creature has a purpose, either for food or to be food. if you happen to be taking aim anywhere around me, i'll be sure to return the favor.

I think it's safe to say that anyone with some common sense knows it's not right to abuse animals, whether you like them or not. With that said this thread has probably run its course.
