What year cr throttle tube do I need and can I use the stock throttle cable?

you order the whole twist throttle kit. it comes with housing, throttle tube and cable. cr just refers to the twist rate. we run the twist throttle on all our quads. takes a little getting used to at first, but when you do, you will love it.

I've stunt rode bikes for years and thought about twist throttle but never converted. After riding yesterday I've decided on tight trails I think it would be better and easier not havering to work thumb and clutch, twist and clutch makes more sense to me sine I'm use to that. I realize it'll take some getting use to but like you say I think I'll love it! Thanks!

Im 32, I started riding dirtbikes at age 7... I've been riding street bikes since I was 16, cruisers, sport and stunt... I thought I would like a twist on my quad... Hated it... Even tried to train myself to like it.

Just keep ahold of your thumb throttle till you know for sure you like the twist.

There is a product called the dual-gasser which allows you to switch between the two. Pretty nice if you ask me. It would really come in handy if you suffer from thumb-pump on occasion.
