Because the YFZ450 is Yamaha's new "entry level" sport quad, the 2012 TRX450R is about $1200 more then the 2012 YFZ. Price wise, the 400X makes a better comparison. ($6,299 vs $6,799)Think about it, if you were looking for a entry level sport quad and were considering a 400X, wouldn't you rather scrape together an extra $500 and get the YFZ? I know I would....
