Is the Pro Circuit T-4 a very good pipe for the 400ex? Does it give low mid or top end power? Or is there any other pipe that is around the same cost that gives you more low end?

I just put on my T4 today. THe reason I choosed it is because.
well it's for a 300ex but there the same pipe if you were to get one.

It offers low to mid power band, it is a overall good pipe and very very very LOUD pipe but not as loud as LRD.
I think the louder the better with performance in mind of course.

I have heard nothing but good things about the T-4, nothing but good things, unless you say loud is bad. The T-4 is a loud mother. I have an E-Series and it provides some low, but most mid and top end power. And the T-4 is Low to midrange.

My buddy at college has a T-4 pipe its a good all around pipe. He gained a lot low and mid range power. And it sounds really healthy:macho

If you took some of the rings out of the E-Series, then it would run louder and more low end. I would say get an E-Series, its ajustable for low or top end power. T-4, is just low to midrange, get the E-Series, and get the best of both worlds.
