Backing up iPod apps

Is there a way to back up your iPod apps? Twice now my daughters iPod apps stop responding but everything else works perfectly. You lose everyhthing on a restore. :(

If you sync the iPod on your computer with iTunes it saves all of the apps along with data. After you reset it you should be able to restore from the backup and shouldn't lose anything.

Like said above if u sync it to a computer with iTunes on it also if u do sync it to a computer if u go to the iTunes store u should be able to redownload it again without being charged if it was bought with the same account. You can also go to http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ and you can use the express lane which basically you email ur question to them and generally they get back to u in 24 hours.
