Thoughts on Suspension KFX 450r

Last week i was trying to adjust my stock front shocks on my KFX 450r and the right shock threads fn stripped out. Now i took it to a shop and they said the can install some sort of band that will keep the retaing rings from moving but, it will be stiffer then stock. I dont wanna be out riding and the damn thing pop off and then there goes my weekend.
My question is this: Does anyone run Fox Float R shocks on a KFX 450 or Elkas, and what is better for just riding the dunes of Glamis and occasionally trail riding?

Check out Motowoz basic shocks they should be cheaper than Elka and fox and they will be valved perfect from Jim.

I will be running atv four play arms with motowoz shocks on mine. For the price and reviews of motowoz you really cant go wrong.
