specific quad forums

i was thinkin to have 5 new forums opened one for honda 400ex, 300ex, 250ex, 250x, and 250r's just for open talk about anything that concerns that bike like a hangout for tose certain bike owners:devil

If you had a question about a 300EX exhaust would you post it in the motor forum, or the 300EX forum..

if you had the 400ex and 300ex and 250ex and so on, you could get rid of the powertrain and body and the forums like that, and let each of the forums be open to anything about the quad?

I agree..........it might also separate some of the age groups. lets face it, different age groups have different interests.

but then again.........we will have a jumble of questions about different parts of the 400ex all thrown together.......

I guess I am split. maybe add a forum called 300EX riders hangout, 250EXriders hangout, 400ex riders hangout, 250R riders etc etc.........and ditch the open forum. this will be like serveral mini open forums, which should divide the different interest levels. leave the specific parts forums the way they are for more technical questions.

i think it would be way less crowded than you think..

then have 2 moderators for each section and have them do 4 or 5 sections, you may need more moderators, but i think you wouldnt have any problem filling the spaces, heck id be a moderator if you asked me ;) ;)


also ditch the FAQ forum because there arent very many additions to it and most people wouldnt even look there first anyway....it doesnt hold most of the most FAQs

I think that would be to complicated for people like me who like to look at every seperate forum. It would take forever and be confusing. I have been to other forums like that and its a pain in the butt. You have no idea where to post and don't get as many replies.

I don't like that idea. I think it would make it extra confusing. It is not better to have more forums. I find this site layout alot better than bluetraxxs because of not having as many forums.

It wouldn't seperate age differences because all the kids on 250exs would ask questions and they wouldn't know the answer so they would put it in the 400ex forum because more knowledable people are in it.

I think the site is pretty much perfect the way it is and i couldn't be happier with it. Please don't change it.

i sorta like the idea ....

but really i liked it when i first came on here which was a couple of months ago.

it would be nice just to have are own seprate forums like
400ex forum
300ex
250ex
and so on

but like someone said earlier it wouldnt get as many replys

so i think we should keep the open forum for sure

and if you keep FAQ gets some better ones like pipes and tires and stuff like that .. i been there it was a waste of time i thought.

I am not just saying me cuz I dont know all that much at all really but you qwould be surprised how much some of us do know about four wheelers and we own a 250...I am not saying me either I actually dont no to much really....but I know enough..Just 4 more months though!

Thats it! I think the only change to the forum should be a JabberJaw Comedy forum. That way, he can post his stories for all of us to see and not hidden away in the open forum. I'm just kiddin around.;)

Sorry. I didn't want it to sound like I thought all people with 250ex's are little kids and are stupid. It just seems most people with a 250ex are people without very much knowledge on ATVs and are pretty young.

Also, what could you possibly talk about in a 400ex/300ex/250ex forum that you couldn't talk about in the other forums?

Overall I think it would be a waste and make more work for the moderators and Leo.

i think its a good idea so us 250ex riders wont feel left out and be dogged...it would work good

I dont know, It would be cool to go to part of the forum to just read about say the 400ex.

However... Say the people that really help out because they know alot about the honda atv's only stick to the 400ex forum because thats what they have, you will eliminate some of the more helpful answers that we recieve.

Also, alot of the questions can be answerd from other peoples experieces from like the 300ex, sometimes the questions pertain to otheres.

And... alot of people know a little bit about like there buddys bike and a few problems they had with it and how they handled it.

I kinda like it the way it is. :huh :huh
