08 plastics on an 07 big deal to change?

I was wondering if it's a pita to change the plastics on an 07 400ex with the 08?

I am looking to replace my black & red 08 400ex that was stolen but the problem is there are so few available that I have to over pay. There are plenty of 05-07's totally loaded for a g less, I was thinking I should pick up new plastics for 500-600 & get a totally loaded quad and save a few hundred.

Im not 100% positive but you might need to weld a bracket or two. I know the 05+ frames have the brackets there already of course for those that do the reverse and put 05-07 on an 99-04.

If you can find a clean 05-07 "loaded" for a G less, who cares about the fenders. they're all the same quad underneath. You can probably check the microphishe on motorsports.com and compare the two years tho if you really want to go that route.
