Same as the old g-force axle from rocky mtn they offered. I have one still and liked it, but I dont do big jumps so I cant tell you how well it might hold up otherwise.

They are good unless you race MX.. it should hold up to everyother application.

They are great axles I have one on my 400ex and I race Extreme Dirt Track, Not good at all for MX though. They will bend very easily on the big jumps.

This is very important so listen up, after you wash the bike always put wd40 on the axle after each wash because if you don't the cheap chrome up there will rust overtime.

have you personally ran a g force or tusk axle? do you have a credible reference to back up your opinion?

I got at least 500 hours on mine of hard woods and dune riding and it never once bent. I only swapped to a stocker b/c I dont like the way it pushes in the corners and is a bit wide for woods. Course I also dont do insane jumps either

As for them bending easy, compound the fact that anyone over 200lbs will bend stuff easy and doing 60ft table tops wtf do you want for the price lol?

My friend also prezzled his g-force coming up short on a tiny little 30 foot double at my house.

Maybe its cause you hit some good sized jumps? I dont do the mx thing, mostly just ride woods and dunes so I never jump things really.

I bent mine at our practice track, which is not very big.. a couple 40 footers is pretty much the biggest, but I still managed to bend mine there but I didnt completely finish it either, I was able to ride it at a couple more events.. IF you can ride a track smooth then you'd be fine.. but everybody cases everyonce and a while.

I don't see how it would bend through the woods though, maybe if you caught a tree with your back tire.

I do race MX, and I run the G-Force Axle. It works well, its not the strongest, but if you are running the lower classes in MX you'll be fine... as soon as you start getting into A Class or Pro Am, you'll need to get a bigger one.

gForce supposedly has a lifetime warranty, Problem solved! if you bend it then send it back and get a replacement

^then get a new one and bend it again. then repeat. then repeat. i bent it a little by jumping this little like 2 foot "jump" in the woods and got sideways and landed on the left rear. then i hit a root and finished it off. i go fast in the woods, maybe thats why. still shoulda held up. it held up at pymatuming holeshot raceway. but i wasnt racing that hard. i put the stock one back on, i dont plan on keeping my 400 all that much longer anywho

My g-force to my amazement hasnt bent yet, many jumps and hospital visits and bent rims later the axel is still straight as a arrow.

But the chrome will rust off completely, I painted mine with hammer head gloss back.

personally owned one on my woods beater and it held up for that. but when jumping the metal is goign to fatige not matter what brand it is and all it takes after that is landing the wrong way once to snap them. ive seen lonestars and durablues break on my buddys track. id trust one of those axles before id trust a durablue.
