yep, i raced my neighbor on his yz80 on my 300, he beat me about about a quad length. They're quick little bikes, but now he just bought a yx125 and i just bought my 400ex, i wonder what that would be like in a race.:eek: But i know i can take him in the snow, water, mud, and really rock hill climbs where bikes just loose traction and fall over.:D

Ok last summer i had a little KX80 and i raced some dude on a 300ex and i smoked his *****. And don't ever try to put a quad up to a 2-stroke dirtbike its a waste of time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!400 will look stupid dragin a yz125 dont make a fool out of your self

I'm pretty sure that is just when your draggin one tho.B/c I was runnin with one at the local track and he wanted to race me but he kept up with me but when i started sliddin away it was over.altho it may be b/c of the rider but it just wasn't as sooth in the jumps like i was. especial the whoops.but he would catchup real fast on straight aways

Ya dude, dont even try to race him. They only way to win would be to kick his bike when you start, and try to knock him over and then like run his bike over and then go!! But I still wouldnt try it lol

i love makin quads look like turtles around here.i have a 2002 kx100 and itll easily take a 300ex and ive actually out dragged some 400s but the riders werent all that great but 300s are a sure bet every time but i usually get my arse handed to me by a 400 unless the riders suck.i might as well post my pic try not to stare directly at it seein as how it is so hot it might burn your retinas:blah

yea, you'd blow a 300ex.. until u blow urself.. u know, bein a 2-stroke & all? oh im not challengin ya cause i know ya blow me ta sh|t! but.. ya cant beat the quality of 4-stroke honda! man.. i had a kx250 last year & let me tell ya this.. it was wicked fast & all, but it was fuc*in junk! after owning that for a month, i got rid of it & bought my 250x.. now i'll never buy a 2-stroke again.. but i do love when the powerband kicks in.. FEEL THE RUSH! WOO! lol. one minute ur racing a 400ex, the next ur blown up at the side of the road..

now did i ever say i would even want to drag race the kid with his 125, durrr, no!... The kids one of those people that i cant stand, gets his bikes from his dad, and the parts, and he doesnt know chit from chit. I was talking to him about why i dont want to buy some cheap *** chain without o-rings, and he is like, o-rings are a waist of money.:huh

stick a metal rod in his spokes, thats the best thing to do to bikes, or when there parked (casue youll never catch em) wheelie on top of it and run if over a few times using it as a step-up:D

LMAO, The first time I rode a dirtbike a ran off the road. It was like a XR 125 or somthing. I wasnt used to the twist throttle and when i tried to turn around on the dirt road i slipped and hit the gas and it took off lol

A yz85 tops out at like 70+++ and a 300ex tops out at around 45..Do the math..A 03 YZ85 beats my buddys 02 Cr 125 and its a strong bike..125's arnt that fast stock

my friend has a RM125.. a 1980 :o well the first day we got it our friend nate was on it and was talkin about how good he was on them, well we have this lil mini track and he was comin around ( its a double berm ) he was tryin to get the inside one but ended up goin over the top one and braking the fendor, my friend was so pissed me made nate walk home... lol. then when i got on it i got the throttle stuck some how and i was goin strait for a tree so i bailed. He got pretty mad at me but i didnt brake nothin :rolleyes:

actually you can just pick one of these to do it on(rm125,kx125,yz125,sx125,or the ever so mighty yz250f)
and so what if it only makes 1-2 less ponies it is still the slowest one and i rode my friends 02 cr125 and im not at all impressed with the power

i own a 1993 modded 300ex and a 1990 kawasaki kx125. I can tell you that my 300ex gets spanked by the two stroke 100's and 125's and 250s, but i have the edge on 80s. blasters i kill. My kx125 beats up on the 400exs in the long run, but off the line until i hit the powerband, they pull on me. then i hit the powerband, catch back up, and its that way until i shift into 5 and then i pull in 6th. just sharing info

ive got an 01 400 ex with fmf powercore 4 silencer fmf powerbomb header fmf stage 2 jet kit k and n air filter k and n oil filter dg full skids dg front bumber and i raced a 03 yz 125 with v force reeds fmf powercore 2 slip on down a 2 mile hard dirt packed road with small bumps and woops im about 180 pounds and hes probably 150 pounnds we are both good riders but he smoked should i expect this ?
