Price list of parts to build a 426....

I need a price list of parts i would need to build a 426....as in for me to bore my 400ex over to a 426....Any help would be appriciated....Thanks....

buddy. The whole point of such a project is to do a little research your self. I would like to help you out but there are so many options I wouldn't no ware to start. Maybe you should just have a shop build you one. the quadshop can build you a real nice crf or 426 with houser stuff for a real good price.

radiator = 300-400 walsh or jrd
oil rezzy =300-400
eca frame mods 995 plus parts witch is way over priced.
custom pipe 430 from trinity. but i ordered mine december 8th and im still waiting., and everytime i call them its a different story. once i get it. I'll never deal with them again. and the real kicker is i spent over 1000 there on the same order as the pipe. no one knows whats going on over there. completely useless

Nooooooo, im talkin about boaring my 2000 honda 400ex to 426 cc not putting a yamaha engine in it....i need to know how much the kit like piston and other parts i would need would cost....

Hey Matt, I read it right.

Ross Pistons sells an 88mm which will get you 424cc's and 11.1:1 compression ratio. They will sell it to you for about $130.

If want to resleeve, you can get sleeve from Advanced Sleeve for about $65.

Figure about $50 to $100 to the machine shop depending on if you resleeve.

Gaskets will cost you maybe $20 or so.

If you do the install your self you'll save a lot of money.

Here is how much I spent on my 426.

Piston kit with Gaskets from Marums ATV was $150
Hot Cams Stage 2 was 140
Porting job didn't cost anything. I have a friend that did it for free.
