alright guys we broke a belt today
the track was very hilly with 40-50'climbs and decent's
its a 70 drr stock variator and rear pulley
we just put in a maxrpm 1500 torsion and mallosi black springs
stall just over 7k
it shifted out good and pulled smoothly
but there are some marks on the rear pulley at the top

looks like the belt has some wear marks up there

also carter said that his speed on the downhills was more than his top speed on flat ground would that matter?

please give us some insight as he was P O'd about not taking the checkers!!

Heat is usually the problem. The more it shifts the more heat is generated causing the belt to get hot and come apart.

^^^^what he said, we had a problem once and replaced variator and it quit
