engine light?

engine light is staying on bright when turn key on and then dimms but doesnot go out when running. checked the oil

im very new to this bike, about 4hrs not even kidding.

it has the motoworks pipe and i believe the programming its the xmx version 450 thanks in advance. also battery is brand new

also this bike seems to run stupid HOT, fan comes on pretty quick and stays on forever. comming off LTR not used to this yet and is this normal?

figured out that the dim light was the neutral light shining back through to the engine light i was informed that its either on or off!

They are notorious for running hot and boiling the gas. Search the web and do the holes in plastics, use an inline cooler from BCS, use engine ice or water wetter. I went to a speed shop and got some reflective heat "blanket", not the thin tape and wrapped my gas tank on the back side and that cures the hot fuel problem. I run Harescrambles in Florida with these mods and haven't had any heat issues yet. Without the mods, yep, EVERYTHING got HOT!
