2002 440ex for sale.. $1,000.00

I have a 2002 400ex that I bought for $1,800.00 it has an aftermarket piston rod and an aftermarket clutch assembly. The clutch it nice and stiff. The parking brake is blocked off. I got this quad home and took it down the road and on the way back it locked up. When I called the guy I bought it from he told me to give him the phone number of the nearest shop and he would order all new parts. He ordered a complete weisco 440 big bore kit with gasket set, L.A. Sleeve, 11.5:1 comp. 440 weisco piston, and rings. All the machine work is done and the bike is ready to be put together. All the parts are brand new and still in the box. I can put it together but if I do the price is gonna go up. As is I only want $1,000.00..

I don't understand why no one has even asked about this. Who wouldn't want a good bike with a basically new engine for cheap? There is $350.00 in brand new parts alone.

Ha, I undestand, I have a 2002 with works shock etc etc etc, 100% setup for xc , running great I cant even sell for 1500

Resale value on these bikes suck! I was only able to get 600 out of it. If I ever own another one then I will make sure I am in a position where I never have to sell it. I love riding a 400ex and they are reliable but they don't sell worth a crap. Oh well, I got enough to get the car I wanted so it's not a total lose but I lost over 1200 bucks on this bike. The next bike I own will be a YFZ450..

hey bruh just depending on wat ur doin the yfz is nice but i built a 450r and love it so much smoother ride i had a yfz they just have a lot of vibration
