View Full Version : 2001 Lobo Trade?

danhung11

Been throwing around the idea to trade off my Lobo collection of parts I been stashing for a nice 4-Stroke bike.

I have the following parts that are included:

2001 Lobo Frame, Subframe, Etc. The subframe is on it's way back, was fixed and added a flag mount.

IMS Roll Heel Guards - broken bracket I can have welded

IMS Gen1 Pegs

IMS Nerf Bars

Stem (2) One is a shorter radius, the other is a longer radius

No Link Swingarm

Plus 3 LT Arms - Requires 19" Shocks

I almost have a complete quad in my garage minus shocks, but kicking around the idea of getting another poker to ride around. I'm looking for a 450R that is near stock, no race bikes. It can have your typical bolt ons, or suspension, etc.

I'm open to offers, my email is danhung11@gmail.com. Serious inquiries only.... I also have a CT310 and CT330 on my work bench. I'll post some pics in a few days. If you have something you think I'd be interested in, email me some pics. I can give you as much of a quad as your quad is worth.

I'd prefer local pickup, and can also Powdercoat this setup any colors you choose... Located in Manhattan, Kansas.

Work I had done to the ghetto bolt the Lobo's came with, the middle support rod is removeable.

Grab bar with flag mount I had put on... The welds are beautiful!

Small Dent in Upper Arm on the left - appears from rock.
http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd228/danhung11/DSC01197.jpg

Middle Plastic Tab that is gone, simple fix or grind it all the way off. That's what I was going to do - they other side is fine.
http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd228/danhung11/DSC01198.jpg

Rear Shot - it's straight.

What's even more funny is I talked to him about 20 minutes prior to his post, then he offers me almost left than 1/2 of what I stated.

Dallas - I will never deal with you, just FYI.

Seriously? This is some good stuff Dallas, I'm from the Show Me State so please provide some examples. I'll leave it open for members in this section to chime in.

I have delt with Dan several times in the past, and he has always been a stand up guy. I would do buisness with him anytime with out question.

I replied to LiverideATV's post about wanting some Gibson LT arms, he low balled me pretty bad as well.

Good luck with the sale dan.... Id rather see you do another build thread on here with it though....

Just think a Laeger Narrow CR500 bike and a Roll Lobo bike. Probably the two best MX chassis ever made... Would be a sweet collection..

Haha.

I also will stand to say that Dan is a great person to deal with on these forums...he and I have had a few transactions. Very edjucated on his stuff...

I have also dealt with you Dallas...you were dishonest when questioned about the parts you were selling. ( JRD spindles about 1 1/2 years ago on ebay ). I asked you if there was any damage to them and you said they were perfect. When the spindles arrived it looked like you took them off the quad with a grinder...hitting and gauging the piss out of them, I could not even use them!!!

I put my 2000 lobo xc up for sale around 8-9 months ago...I was looking for a reasonable price. Dallas did the same thing as this thread and wouldn't go away with his $2000 lowball offer...even when I was telling him it had sold for near double.

I hope Dallas spends all his money and goes broke trying to sell all that crap on ebay...my 2 cents for this thread.

liverideatv
10-12-2011, 11:42 AM
Apologies about the spindles, if you had contacted me I would have refunded you no questions asked and I still will if that is what you would like. I stand behind my stuff and yes sometimes there are errors. Call me at 860-324-6101 if you would like to discuss the refund. Thanks, Dallas

I find it amusing that you expect everybody to give you great deals on here, so you can turn around and sell the parts for what theyre actually worth on ebay, and make a profit. Yet, everytime you sell something on ebay, and someone gets a good deal off of you, they're feedback will read " Seller never sent/refuses to send item". You are a joke and people like you are the reason lots of people wont buy good parts, from honest people, on here and off ebay. Do us all a favour and conduct your buissness truthfully. I cant believe people still buy stuff of your ebay account with a 93.2% positive feed back rating. :ermm: Please check his feedback out before even considering dealing with him.

And yea people rape my feedback, it doesn't matter how much you take care of people, they still leave negative feedback in the end....

not to pile on...but I always get a kick out of this LRP auction when I see it:
TRX250r Chrome Walsh MX Tie-Rods TRX 250r tierods (#270830172281)
"One is Slightly Bent.
Recommend New Tie-Rod Ends"

What does that leave you? One good tie rod?:p

Na man some people dont care about runnin a bent tie rod. and I say they need new tie rod ends, but they really dont. I dont want someone to get them and be upset cus the ends aren't as tight as new

Yeah, Sam, at his ridiculous prices.

I love how he blames it on people rather than his jacked up prices, poor quality of parts/descriptions and early use of shill bidding to get his prices up.

I'm surprised you are still around.

I also love the lowball offers and willingness to pay right away. Like getting paid right away or CASH is going to make up for half the price.

timmersam
10-12-2011, 02:40 PM
I dont need any parts, I only buy quality parts from good, trustworthy people, and thats why I use this site. Mark my words, I will NEVER buy any of your overpriced CRAP. Im tired of people scamming, scheming, and flat out robbing people of their money, by falsely selling them "like new parts". If you polish a turd, its still a turd, and thus it needs to be sold as " a polished turd" and not as "in mint condition". The fact you say other people "raped" your feedback is laughable. Im sure your feedback reflects the way you conduct buisness, and im sure it would be alot lower if the other people you screwed werent worrying about you giving them a negative. Just do us all a favour, and stop flooding the used market with low quality parts.

I have never dealt with Dan nor Dallas but if i had to go from what ive seen...Dallas just goes around low balling everyone and trying to get stuff for nothing! Who ****ing offers 2000$ for a lobo you obviously know its worth way more then that... You are just a scumbag.I don't like to bring up other posts but if anyone knows who 800screws is go look at his ltr250 for sale and see what kinda "deal" Dallas was offering him it made me laugh out loud. You are a scammer bro gtfo of our community...OH and P.S. I HAVE NEVER SEEN 1 BAD THING SAID ABOUT DAN OR ANYTHING HES SOLD...

liverideatv
10-12-2011, 02:54 PM
My prices are cheaper than anyone elses on ebay and also as a seller you cant leave the buyer a negative feedback so that really kills your theory. But if ya ever need some quality reasonably priced parts feel free to give me a call. I deal with alot of big names in the quad industry and you may not think I am good at what I do, I am. For example call up Norris Quinn and ask him how he feels about me. we have done business many times and we have never had an issue. So good luck with your theories and taking other peoples words. But I stand behind what I sell BECAUSE it is not junk. Have a great day. Thanks, Dallas

This is my last post because your hopeless. Your in denial, you're a shady seller and you cant admit it. I have no theory, its how ebay works; if someone is unhappy they leave a negative, and that effects your overall positive rating percentage. At a 93% you must have had alot of jerk buyers  . I wonder what all those guys at 100% are doing different? Sorry Dan for ruining your thread, and good luck with selling your lobo.

I didn't really want to post again, but just looking through ebay, so many parts are from Dallas. All you have to do is look at the parts and the prices and laugh. Look at his feedback and you can see he won't ship a part if it's too cheap.

He also, bumped up his rating by offering stickers for a penny. If you took out all his penny auctions for stickers his feedback would probably be in the 70% range.
He also offers vague descriptions or misleading/misinformed ones.

So to sum up : liverideatv - nobody has anything good to say about you, Dan - lots of good to say.

Dallas, I hope you've learned your lesson here. In case you haven't learned, what you did here is a serious thing. Below is the Merriam-Webster definition of "libel". I am NOT taking any legal actions, moreso trying to educate you as a 22 year old kid.

a : a written or oral defamatory statement or representation that conveys an unjustly unfavorable impression b (1) : a statement or representation published without just cause and tending to expose another to public contempt (2) : defamation of a person by written or representational means (3) : the publication of blasphemous, treasonable, seditious, or obscene writings or pictures (4) : the act, tort, or crime of publishing such a libel

Again, I want to thank all the members in the section for supporting me. It means a lot to read these comments about how I am portrayed in this section.

Thanks Dustin, just saw this post and I highly recommend dealing with dustinshuler, great guy for sure! I fixed the mouse chewing on the kill switch, used some shrink wrap and you can't even tell. The rest of the parts are new, just as described. Once I tried the CR ignition, I said ditch the lights and no turning back. This setup will go in my 330R. I'd rather buy a 450R to ride at night then lose the performance gains of a CR ignition. I think I saw Troy kick my bike over sitting down, it's got about 210lbs of compression too. I guess some might say he's got some lead in his pants. :D By the way, there was a member on on the other site that picked up one of the old Nac's Laeger bikes. He had it in the dunes this past weekend, Jimmy Ellis's old Superfly Laeger. Pretty nostalgic looking, clean too.

My bad on the typo... damm auto correct on phone will get ya everytime. It was a clean bike, looked hardly used.

Dallas - I'll trade you straight up your XP900 white lighting, ($22,500, must have a few gold bars stashed in the glove box). I'll drive out and pick it up too, you free this weekend? LOL! I don't care if it has bent tie rods either, or bad ball joints, chipped Powdercoat, flat tires, etc. As long as it runs and smokes with an oil leak, I'll take it. Go ahead and thrown in the yellow broke *** roll arms with rusted out ball joints. I could use some weight in the truck this winter.

Now that was funny.. lol.

I have been around the horn a time or two also.. and Dallas is bad news. I spoke with him a few years back when he was just jumping in, and starting to screw people then.. and still it continues. You are correct, if the parts goes too cheap, it doesnt ship. good luck w the lobo trade

It's not for sale, wouldn't separate due to the cases being modified for the sleeve.

Thanks for the interest.
