steering stem ??

I recently purchased a roll design steering stem for my 07 trx450. the stock stem is much bigger around than the roll. How in the world do i mount it? There is a huge gap on the top mount.

You sure you have the correct stem?

I know burgard used to sell their 400ex stems as the 450R stem, since they worked, but guys were running into the same issue you're seeing, there is an adapter/bushing deal you can get to fix it. Might want to try burgard for it, or call IMS up.
