View Full Version : 400EX aftermaket intakes?

Hey guys, do any of you know where to buy aftermarket intake manifolds for the 400EX. Cause with the FCR 39 it is hard to put it into the stock manifold I know UPP youst to sell them but I don't think they do anymore.

Any help is appriciated thanks, Ty.

Which FCR 39 do you have? Is it the older style aftermarket one, or one from a dirt bike? What did it come off of?

If it's the older style, you should be able to get adapters from Sudco to fit the stock airbox and intake.

This is the carb from Curtis Sparks, i'm not talking about the intake tube from the airbox i'm talking about the intake manifold that bolts to the motor where the carb goes into..

Hmmm, it should have the right adapter then. The one on the intake side screws into the carb.

I can't recall if I used a hair dryer to get my intake to loosen up a bit, but I don't have any issues when reinstalling my FCR. I have had it for several years though, so it could be that the intake just stretched a bit over time.
