November 6, 2011 will be the start of a new season and the rebirth of
Sunshine State Quad Series Association (SSQSA). This short Winter series will bring together some of the best racers in the state of Florida and some others from around the country. It will give some the chance to tune in their quads for the upcoming Nationals and also be a breakout for some upcoming talent.
Round 1 will be held at Sunshine MX in St. Petersburg, FL. The racing will be fast and exciting and set the tone for racers and what they have in front of them. All amateur classes will be run standard outdoor MX style racing with a 2 moto format. The Top gun class will be a little different. SX style 3 moto format with point being given on the overall finish in the 3rd moto. Moto 1 and Moto 2 will be combined for gate pick in moto 3. The series overall winner in the Top Gun Class will receive a sponsorship from SSQSA for entry fees for one series the upcoming year. The racing will be intense and exciting!
Race fees are as follows:
All amateur classes will be $35.00
Top Gun Class will be $60.00 with 80% payback.
All events will have open practice the day before. So come early and know the track.
All machines MUST have number plates on the front AND rear of the machine.
All quads must have nurf bars or running boards for the smaller quads.
All quads MUST have a working kill switch.
We will have a Side by Side class and a Pit Quad class.
Must be a member. Membership only $25.00. You will also be able to purchase products from our sponsors through SSQSA at a discounted rate.
Please make sure you have packed your exhaust. (If need be we will inflict a turn-down rule to help with sound so be proactive!)
