Motor- Ct mid port 310, 72.25 bore-new, 38mm pwk-178 main, 52 pilot, DGH needle in the 2nd clip down from the top, radvalve, UNI with no lid, Full FMF Fatty exhaust.

Elevation-750ft in Iowa

How does this jetting look for break in? I have 180-70 mains and a 50 pilot on hand and a 55 pilot ordered.

Premix ratio? I have Yamalube for my break in, but can I use Amsoil Dominator Synthetic for break in, and normal use from there?

And what ratio do you guys recomend for break in, 32/40/50:1

I will be running race gas, my basic calculations put me around 12:1 comp, but will know psi tomorrow after I pick up a compression tester.

This build has been 2 years in the making and my first 2 stroke in about 15 years. After break in , I have no problems plyaing with jetting and needle postion. Thanks guys

sounds like a pretty good starting point at least. its always better to start out rich and go down from there, but you should just be putting around for the break in anyway. I run klotz benol at 32:1 with great results.

I run klotz super techniplate at 32:1 normally but my dads friend who bored/honed my cylinder this spring said to run it a bit rich for this first two tanks so i ran it at 38:1 I also run race gas vp110,c12,c14 whatever the guy down the road has in stock. I hope this helps you and goodluck with your fresh motor :)

buds 310 runs 188 mains & 60 pilot 32/1, thing rips. keep the r rich during break in.

sounds a little lean to me. i think my lrd 330 could run on a high 180s jet at 80-90* but i'd start in the 190s with a 52-55 pilot then drop from there. we are around the same elevation here. good luck and have fun!

Get some heat in the cylinder then go back and re-torque.
