bowl drain woes

my ex has a 42 mm keihin which has been sitting up for acouple of months and has started leaking out of the bowl drain even though the drain screw is tight and none leaks by the o-ringed screw head,only out the drain tube. Any body have any input?

probley needs cleaned out that drain gets a spec of dirt in it and sometime leaks bad imho

yea thanks, i suppose i will pull the bowl tomorrow and take a look see,Ive had this quad for 10 years never had fuel problems till this freakin ethanol came around now im working double to keep all my stuff running

Ethanol will attract moisture which in turns promotes corrosion. All it takes is a speck of crud to make it leak past the O-ring.

after disassymbly I found a stuck float due to a build up of ''crud'' from crappy ethanol ,while i had the gas tank off i set my valves back to factory specs then went for a ride and let that 460 eat!
