Finally got one!

Well, after an 8 year hiatus from the sport quad scene (having to ride an '04 trx 450 foreman in the mean time)....

i picked my self up this sweet unit here tonight. 2005 400ex....bone stock accept for the dg bumper and nerfs and new front tires, and is in excellent condition. Picked her up for $1500 off a dude that hardly rode here at all.

i plan on getting some form of fat bars for it (maybe fourplay soft bars in the future), bark busters, an hmf comp slip on exhaust and some holeshot hd's...

should be great for some poker runs.

ya its basically spotless! it has the standard marks in the plastics from riding, and the paint is worn off the frame from where his left boot rubbed, but other than that...its clean as can be

Looks like you could use a front rim but definitely clean. Especially for only $1500

ya, it looks bad, but it still holds the bead really well, so ill eventually change it. i'd like to get bead locks, but i truly dont feel like spending the money on them till next spring..


i really couldnt pass up the price. I've seen several like this in my area in far less condition go for over $2.5k in the past couple of months..

i bought it off a close friend who decided to buy a built xc ltr, move to a different apartment, and go on a white tail hunt in missouri during the rut, all in about the span of 2 weeks......so i feel i lucked out
