2011 Yfz With Baffle Removed

MY BUDDY JUST GOT A 2011 YFZ 450 AND TOOK THE BAFFLE OUT AND THEN HE TOLD ME IT WOULDN,T RUN RIGHT. I DIDN'T GO OVER THERE TO SEE FOR MYSELF, BUT I WOULDN'T THINK JUST TAKING THE BAFFLE OUT WOULD HURT ANYHTING. IS IT POSSIBLE TO MAKE IT NOT RUN RIGHT?

It should not do anything. I rode/raced mine for two weeks without the pea shooter in there.

Have him turn the key on and watch the Engine light on the dash. If it flashes numerous times, it is throwing a code just like your truck/car. Maybe he bumped something? Go over the electronics, plugs, kill switch, engine kill switch, etc. Dumb things have happened and caused engines to not start.

You can take out the pea shotter and the lid off with the stock PCM.
