today's atv have migrated all arcoss th globe, their are three distinct verieties,
the eastern atv seam to evolve into short, wide, creature's
they also seam to be meat eater, becouse all four feet are clawed. some are seen all year long, while other's stay in thier caves for most of the winter.
Thier closest relitives on the north west coast, spend most of thire time in the high country. they have adapted to this ruff terrain by improving thier rib cage area, some seam tough as nails. they are also meat eater's, with very strong feet and dangerous claws. all of them hibernate during the winter months'.
A distant relative of the norther and eatern "quad" ,as they are sometimes called, are the fastest. living in the south east of the uninted states, they cope with the hot desert sand by running as fast as they can across it. they gather in great number's in late september on through may, and seam to perform some sort or ritual every year. i don't believe these to be meat eaters, becouse most have no claws on their two front feet, but don't be mistaken. thier hind quarter's are no match for the average. they also seam to be afraid of their distant relatives to the east and north. If a great western atv finds itself next to a quad of the east he will get spooked. they have been seen running away very fast. throwwing sand is obiously a deffence mechinism of sorts.
