I am selling a 2003 KX 65 motor complete with FMF fatty pipe & silencer. Includes all electrics-stator, coil, CDI box. Stator is basically new, only 5 races on it. Includes shifter lever, stator cover, kick start lever, etc.
NOTE: Motor will need rebuild, it was beginning to melt down when it quit. It is not seized. Took head off & looks like piston was starting to melt down due perhaps to a lean cylinder? Again not seized. It will cycle around without any binding. The cylinder does have a scratch in it. Also note this case was repaired due to a chain break which had cracked the case in that area. This was repaired before my use of the motor. It was how I bought it so had it repaired.
I want to be as honest about this package as possible. This would be a good set up for someone looking to build a junior mini quad. I have since fab this quad for an 85cc motor & no longer need the KX65. Again, the whole set up goes.
$400 complete as is. Any Q's let me know.
