So my 300ex won't start. I was riding it having a good time and all. Then I desided to block off the overflow on the carb so I don't lose gas when I wheelie. After that i tried to start it and nothing. It turns over, has spark, compression, I don't know whats wrong. I tried changing the spark plug and unblocking the over flow. Any ideas whats wrong or how to fix it?

A few things to try before ripping apart your carb:
-Make sure your choke is off
-Make sure your gas tank is full
-Turn your block off to reserve, pump the throttle a few times then try and start it.
That's really all the simple things I can think of that could be wrong.

Thanks for the reply I got this fixed a while back, I pulled the carb apart and cleaned it and it ran like *****. So took it over to my buddies house so he could look at it and he pointed out that the choke was on
