I am starting to shop for a mod. Tyler will be racing 90 mod next year so I am wanting to know what is for sale out there. We will probably end up with a Cobra or a Blaster mod. I am not planning on spending a fortune for the bike as we only race locally and not on the National level. Send me pics and prices of what you have for sale please. I already know of 2 Cobras that are both priced the same which is $4500 and I feel that is reasonable but want to shop around before making the purchase.......................Jeff

Hey Jeff, keeping the CVT? I am currently in the process of fabbing out our mod with an 85 motor. I will have new motor in it & many other changes. Started the process now since my wifes work situation has changed recently & we've backed off the racing until she's back to work. I had the motor, pipe, electrics etc. for I figured I would start the work now. Looking forward to 2012.

Wade, I will be selling it @ the end of the year. I can honestly say i will miss it, it has been a great quad and Tyler really likes it but to fund the next step it will have to go. I thought about building a 2Fast for it and upgrading a couple other things but Tyler says he wants to race a shifter & his pitbike next year.

Hey Jeff you should talk to Paul. He built a few APEX's with RM motors in them and they run real well, you can see one of them run next weekend in Wildwood. Also if you have any questions about getting the seals out give me a call. Its not as hard as you would think.

I guess nobody has anything for sale, we are going to take our time and when the right one comes along we'll get it.
Mike,
Did Brian get that quad together & ready for Wildwood? I am probably going to bring the seals with me this weekend and Joe Serrao said he could give me a hand. I have to take off the PVL but I don't know how to put it back on to make sure the timing is right. I appreciate the help. Quad is still running hot, going to take off the water pump tonight to see if it is all still there!

I have a couple of Cobras that I would like to sell.

One has a yz85 motor in it with a Trackside pipe. The other one has a stock 50 in it right now.

I also have a yz85-105 supermini motor that I can put in either one. With stock pipe or a FMF pipe. It has a cool head with removeable dome. Also comes with PVL ignition. I have a lot of money into this motor

I will have to get pictures later today for you. Let me know if you need any other info.

Thanks,
Marrs

Everyone thanks for all the replys, we have been doing some research. Tyler is about 110 llbs right now and about 4 ft 10 and have told that if we buy a Cobra he will outgrow it in a year. Any thoughts on this?
This has me thinking we should see if there are any Blaster mods out there for sale. We have another racer up here who runs a Blaster mod and it runs right up front with the Cobras and other mods in the area when he has a good run, have seen him beat many Cobras.
ANY input will be helpful.I just dont want to spend 4 or 5 thousand on a quad that Tyler will outgrow in a year then have to start shopping again..................Thanks, Jeff

Kinda want to buy one that is close to being ready to race. It will take Tyler a while to get used to shifting on the track, he is doing good with his dirt bike but that is only in the trails out in the back yard. You guys must have one big garage to hold all your toys!!!!

coffing918

Lol acctually we have them all scattered around between my dads and grandparents houses which is where our track is. 2 garages full,3 sheds r full and 2trailors are full. We r taying to downsize big time. The rzr and 2 golf carts fill up my dads garage so we needed more room.
