Ok guys i pretty much ran my truck bone dry. I filled up the tank and the fuel filter bowl, but still no start, how do i bleed the fuel system? It a mechanical pump not electric, so turn the key on and off wont work. Ive researched alittle and havent found a good answer

Crack an injector line open while someone else cranks. When fuel comes out tighten the line back down. It'll take a bit of driving/idling to get all of the air worked out.

Only worked on cummins but I would crack the lines at the pump not at the motor.

if you got good batteries just keep cranking itll fire up and clean itself out.

96 shouldnt be a mechanical pump motor. 93 i believe was the last year for the mechanical pump 7.3
