I need a set of levers for at 1985 TRX250. It's the little utility, not the 250X or 250r (neither of which were made in 85 anyways).

I need a host a parts, but my first concern right now is the front right lever, complete with reverse lever and bracker, and the left front brake complete with master cylinder.

Talk to me, whatcha got?

I think you have it backwards. Rear brake and reverse is on the left, front is on the right. You can make lots of levers work on the rear/reverse side, but it is difficult to find the front brake lever, especially since these were available with two different types of master cylinders from 85-87. I wouldn't be surprised if some big-red parts were the exact same if you want to expand your search to include them. Same as the fourtrax 300, and 200.

You are correct, right lever with the master cylinder, left lever for rear brakes and reverse.

The master cylinder is missing completely, I never even saw what it looked like to know how it would be different from other models. But the brake line looks like a standard banjo-bolt style like any other Honda I've ever seen, so I'm going to try a 300EX front master cylinder and see how well it works. From what I can see, it looks like it will bolt up just fine, I just don't know about the leverage ratio and fluid pressure. I guess we'll see, because I can't seem to locate a TRX250 master cylinder at the moment.

i have used 400ex brake setup on a few 250 utility bikes cause they are cheaper then a rebuild kit. just just the whole hadlebar setup and bolt on and go. thats what i did. good luck
