Hot cam splines striped out Where timing gear goes

So has anyone had this happen to their hot cam ?

Nope, did you cross thread it?

I suppose you could drill and tap it out for the next size up-but IDK if it would work to well since the cams cast right there and casting tends to be a bit brittle.

No it's on the camshaft it self You cant do anything to it. the timing chain spun of all the splines on the camshaft

Then Id say you need a new one.

Want a stock one??? works fine.. comes with spring and plunger...
