Keep an eye on this thread http://www.exriders.com/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=43081 You are about an hour away from Chicago, in which direction? The Badlands is about a 2-1/2 hour ride from the west 'burbs.

It only takes 2 & 1/2 hours from your house? What way did you go. We were figuring it was going to take about 4.

I forgot to mention that I live near Fox Lake, but am near Wheaton / St. Charles a lot too.

We take 294 south , and it will turn into 80/94. You can either take that to 41 south, or there is another way that takes you down to 30 east, over to 41 south. Then you just follow the signs to Attica. The name of the street you turn right on is on their site, but I think it is the first street past McDonald's. Then it's about a mile or two down the road on your right...ya can't miss it.

When we went to H/M that is kind of the route we took, except we went thru Indy. By just looking at the map I guesstimated 4 hrs. But I sure like the sound of 2 1/2.

Have you ridden at all this year? I havn't just been to cold for me.

No, I haven't ridden at all, still waiting for a few parts to show up. I should have it all back to gether by then. Yeah, it will probably be around 3-1/2 for you at least. Keep in mind, I run anywhere from 70-80 mph when I go. :devil

I still calculate everything I do from my parents house in winfield. Which is where I thought the 4 hours would be from. So I'm still pretty happy with what you said.

What new parts did you get. I finally got all my stuff done, but all I got to do was ride up and down the street once.

70 or 80 mph down Rt41, your lucky you haven't gotten stopped. There are cops on that road all the time. We go down several times a year. Fun place and great ppl own it.
The only time to go is during the weekdays.. You have the entire park to yourselfs..can't beat it.
Let us know when you go. We'll meet you there, if we don't have a race.

My "off season" upgrades include pro pegs, tires, wheels, graphics kit, and steering stabilizer. I also bought an FCR39, and CFM airbox, and have a few things getting powdercoated.

Belt, I guess I am kinda lucky, but I have run across too many cops on my trips down there. It's kinda hard to hide in the country like you do in the city. Plus, being one myself, I can kinda pick them out from a little further away. ;)
