Me and my two friends were riding tonight and there was this long straight back road and we decide to top our four wheelers out. but cheating. me and one friend rode our 400ex which usually run about 70mph topped out. my other friend was in his powerstroke while the 400exs were drafting him. a gps in our pocket told us we reached a top speed of 92mph!!! and we checked the qps accuracy with the trucks gauge. it was insane!!!!

I highly doubt you went 92mph when even a worked EX is about only good to about 80mph.

a 400 isn't go to go that fast unless it is on a trailer being towed.. The gps was fubar..

Mine really goes only 70 tops. But when your right on a trucks behind and you have no wind pushing on you (drafting) you can go alot faster. Try it sometime you'll be amazed.

You will not draft and pick up 22 mph.. Not to mention once the gear is wound out, the engine is wound out, that is it..

You're only going to go as fast as your gearing or revs will let you. Without changing the gearing, it physically impossible to gain 22 MPH, behind a truck or not. Change the gearing and draft behind a truck? Sure, completely possible.

It's amazing how few people understand this concept.

A full built to the hilt 440EX is going to run the exact same top speed as a bone stock 400EX, it will just accelerate to that top speed much faster. Gearing, tire sizes, and rev limit dictate top speed.
