Hey guys' I got a banshee that has a locked up engine that I am going to fix for my brother in law. I am not very familiar with banshee engines. Where should I start looking first- top end or bottom end? Is there anything common that happens to lock these motors up?
Thanks

You may want to check the Crankshaft. It may be twisted. What year is the Banshee?

The banshee is an 87. Its old but it was really fast. It was a flat track racer when he got it. He let one of his friends borrow it and it came back locked up. I was just wondering if it was more common for the crank to sieze or if it might be a siezed piston or wrist pin. Guess I'll just have to tear into it until I find it.
