08 gas tank work on a 04-05

I got a brand New 08 gas tank for a good deal I was wondering if it would fit on my 05

So no one knows on this form come on guys

Yes it will work but you need the plastic shield below the tank along with petcock and mounts/bolts.

yes it will work, and they make it easer if you want to use a bigger carb.
