i should be getting my new motor in a few days, and i have a few ??

when i first fire it up it wont have much oil in the motor. is there any way i can help this?

how long should i let it warm up before i ride it??

More then one opinion on here.. Get it warmed up to op temp, give it a few up and down runs, let it eat..

i thats the way i planned on doing it. but it wasnt very clear on how warm the motor needs to be

Oh and how i did mine was basically just filled it until my dipstick said full.. started it, let it run for 15 - 20 seconds, shut it off, Checked the oil (had to fill it up quite a bit more) then began my break in process (just pretty much ran the nuts off it)

I am not saying this is the correct way to do it, but im pretty sure doing it that way would be better than trying to break in the motor, with the oil being about a half court low.
