correct, its like the oposite of flex bars, from what i read it is sopose to cushin your wrists if u have a hard landing. front to back instead of up and down

Do you have the special bearing that replaces the stem bearing at the bottom? without this its pretty useless. When they first came out I was a test rider for this and it was awesome but they just never really took off. I guess you could have one machined or call houser.Whoever gets this will love it!

I remember seeing these for sale back in the day. Got me thinking, if the clamp moves front to back the bottom must pivot too. What link of special bearing does it use? Some kind of ball joint looking bearing?

It should hane a sperical bearing pressed in to a billet aluminum spacer that fits in the bearing hole and under the snap ring.

ive just had it in my garage for a long time and have never done anything with it. i didnt know anything about a bearing or anything. comes as pic'd.

After talking with Rob from Houser a couple of times. He called the Engineer and he said at first they used this heim type bushing. After a couple years they figured it was ok to use a
oem bearing. The Engineer said that the stem doesn't move much at the bottom, so thats what they went with....

No kidding! I've been trying to figure out if you can run a stabilizer with it...
