engine ?

you all know my engine and its solid...that being said would anyone on here want my 426? most likely gonna sell the motor and full system and buid a crf450 hybrid. just seeing before i try selling anywhere else. solid fast strong engine!:D would be looking too sell right before winter

well dik kinda looking for offers as of now dont want to tear it down until winter so highest offer by than takes it. its such a nicely built and strong motor i hate too see it go but need a winter project;)

I'm not the one to be throwing out prices either. I'd be willing to take just the exhaust too if someone else just wanted the motor.

alright motor has to go first...because there the sweetest machines out there in my opinion. I like to have something to build during the winter and last winter was this motor did it very well and its amazing but winter is coming and it is not an all of a sudden...I have been thinking and doing my re-search on the crf and the 400ex geom frames for some time now. I would basicaly use all my parts other than the motor exhaust and carb maybe a little bit here and there depending on how far i go. but yeah I have always loved hybrids and what they bring to the table and a good challenge as well!:D

Custom grab bar i see? I am guessing you chopped, drilled and tapped the subframe?

May sound as if thats a dumb question, but i wasnt sure if you custom fabricated a 450r subframe to fit or what?

LOL i personally think that was the DUMBEST thing honda could have done...

300ex has a detachable grab bar, 250ex also, 450r has grab bar, but nooooo lets make a 400 grab bar part of the freaking frame, so if you bend it you have to buy a whole subframe...... sighhhh

We cut the stock subframe, drilled holes and welded nuts to the inside. Used a 04-05 450r grab bar

Man that is a shame you are getting rid of that motor so soon! Is it even broken in yet?? I may be interested, this winter i was going to do some motor work to mine but having yours and then a spare stock one sounds nice. ill pm you a price in a bit.

ahahah that 426 keeps right up with that 450r !!! and alright shoot me a pm i check all the time need it gone so i can start my build:D and no not even really broken in maybe 15 little rides up and down the road working alot and school so not much time for it!
