crf450 Big bore reviews

Hey guys I'm sure there's some people out there with some big bores on there crf hybrids. Looking to do a 490 or 525 big bore on my 03 crf motor and looking for some reviews. Let me know how your big bore treats you. Thanks guys

big bore might be a cheap way for power but a fully built std bore/stroke motor can more then holds its own against a bb motor. ik guys that have had a 500 bb kit in there crf (498 or 499 exactly) and they went back to a 450 becuase it pulled better and revved fast. the 500 made more hp but the 450 was faster on the track. This was on ice and tt dirt racing

with the right combination on the big bore, it will be hard to beat, I have build several big bores that haul the mail.

Stock bores can and do make power, but us builders can also turn a big bore into a lethal combo......but it has to be a good fit for the type of racing/riding that you want to do. A high power motor in the hands of certain riders will turn slower lap times then a lesser powered motor.
