hey everyone. sold my ltr and got a new ride haha i know theres alot of ls1 guys here
04 pontiac gto hit in the right front. its going to take awhile to fix due to money but im in no hurry because i have to go through a long process with office of vocational rehab before im able to drive anyways and hopefully they will pay for the hand controls.
i got it off of copart insurance auction that doesnt give you alot of pics or info about the car besides what it is haha but right away i was so happy when i found it has a typhoon intake manifold, power + throttle body and fuel rails, k&n cai, bigger injectors, msd wires, longtube headers, high flow cats, full magnaflow exhaust, pioneer headunit w/ 7inch screen, and a whole lot of red spray paint under th hood that is already gone... i found the last owner and he has a dyno sheet showing 412hp and 390tq
it sounds mean haha i cant wait to get the freedom of driving and being able to go fast again back

Awesome! Always liked these cars. If they pay for the hand controls are you going to install them yourself? ...or do they have to be professionally installed for safety reasons?

its going to need a pull and a new k member which should straighten everything out
the hand controls need to be installed by somebody who is certified. and like all disability equipment the prices are way higher than they should be... roughly $2000 for simple hand controls
the program im going through with office of vocational rehab will help me with becoming independent again. with things like funding for making my vehicle accessible and any schooling or training i need to get a job and start a career. fro their point of view i should be driving a accessible mini van and they mention that several times at every meeting and i keep telling them there is no way im going to drive a mini van haha

it has a tune also but actually im not sure if theres a cam or not because the first owner did all of the mods and kept the car spotless but the 2nd owner was a guy i went to school with but i didnt know that when i bought it. he is the one who did all of the custom red spray paint and overspray around all of the caps. and who told me all the mods which i already knew of because there all visable

7 months ago i had a bad wreck and broke my neck leaving me paralyzed from my armpits down. im making alot of improvements but nothing usable yet so only time will tell.
