civic peeps!

Well I'm a new civic owner, I got a 95 from a friend and it needs a engine, but i already have one of them so I'm all set but i have one thing I dont understand, I can put it in gear but when its in first it will wobble back and fourth like its not it gear, but i assure you its in gear... Is it the bushings in the shifting link?

Might be the shifter bushings or linkage being loose. If it were though, I would think it would do it in every gear. I guess its possible that maybe when in first, it allows just enough "slop" in the shifter/linkage to allow this to occur. Its been quite a few years since I been into the crx's, but I would check those areas first. Cant think of much else that would have these symptoms.

check all the gears, honda's have sloppy shifters, with all the linkage with bushings its just how it is. def doesnt feel like most other tranny's

it does it in all the gears, and for some reason i can shift in to all the gears...

why do you think you shouldnt be able to. a trans should be able to go into all gears without the engine. the play is normal

I'd rather drive a beat to hell civic than a new camaro with a gay *** paint job and 20's, them things are the biggest "wanna be ricers" around. I'd rather ride a horse than drive a camaro with rims and look like a fag... and you get a car you wanna race and i'll race ya :P

I don't understand why some of you guys rag on civics. I think a riced out civic is about as gay as a camaro with straight pipes... which is very very gay.

yea i forgot how gay i was getting 40 mpg with a 18 year old car that i paid 1500 bucks for thats all stock. i like men i guess
