Rear end Swap 04 to a 06

I know it can be done wondering what i will have to change, i have a buddy with the swinger/carrier and linkage. I will be glad to get rid of the chain tensioners and go to a round bearing carrier. Thanks for any info.

The shock/link/dogbone as a group needs to be 04/05 *or* 06+. You cannot mix 04/05 shock/link/dogbone with 06+ version of any of the three. You will need an 06+ caliper, rotor and hub. Glad I made the switch. Chain adjustment is quick and easy, and the brake pad lasts longer.

So it all has to be changed, there is a difference in shocks I was hoping that the difference was just the swinger/carrier. Thanks

If I wasn't clear: you *can* use your 04/05 shock so long as you also use your 04/05 link and dogbone.
